This is the new space of Andrea Tognon Architecture atelier in Milan. The design approach start from a long observation of those spaces where we start to work before any intervention. The spaces in the office “palazzina” where very banal. From the beginning we start to play with the existing trough colors to cut or underlain volumes and spaces. We begin from a gray base adding different pigments for each room, defining imperceptible sequences of spaces. We played with existing recessed neon lights just with color tape to warm up and give emotional value to the light.. Then we unified different building trough black, making outside spaces in between with an interior feeling. The project is a work in progress, occasion to experiment ideas of simplicity but with a strong spatial and emotional impact ...
