Taking cues from Manish Arora's Spring 2011 collection, we were commissioned to design the decor for a celebratory dinner for the fashion designer hosted by Swarovski Crystallized™. Aiming to evoke subtle references of Bollywood alongside rich color and textures, we would transform the event space in an elegant manner that showcased the new collaboration between Manish Arora and Swarovski.

Alongside lush floral centerpieces, we created custom antiqued gold mirror tops for the bar and tables in the upstairs pre-dinner cocktail area. On descending the stairs past Vincent Van Duysen's towering Crystal Cascade Chandelier, guests viewed the first wall vitrine, lined with rich pink satin. The visual anchor of the designed environment were six iridescent silk organza swags delicately suspended from the ceiling, in fact seeming to disappear into the side walls. The dining table for 30 guests, also treated with a custom antiqued gold mirror top, was placed under this elegant fabric tenting along an angle that echoed the architecture of the walls. Lining the floor with glass votive candles alongside rich floral arrangements and gold highlighted chairs, glassware and china, created a highly elegant space with rich touches of color and light.
