Temple Of Memories at CASACOR São Paulo 2022

Consuelo Jorge Arquitetos as Architects

Consuelo jorge special guest of casacor são paulo with “temple of memories”

With a space full of memories and inspirations, is possible to travel back in time through other editions of the architect at CASACOR

A unique style and recognized as one of the most important architects in Brazil, Consuelo Jorge is one of the guests of CASACOR São Paulo for the 35th anniversary edition of the show, which from July 5th to September 11th, at Conjunto Nacional, on Avenida Paulista. Following the theme of this edition, “Particular Infinity”, the professional created an environment of 80m2, which brings the home as a “TEMPLE OF MEMORIES”, where you will find everything you need for the most intimate moments and for reflection.

“We are always looking for innovation and a excepcional space. This year will be more special, it will be a tribute to my mother with an installation of 42 telegrams that she received at her wedding in 1954 and that were kept for 68 years”, completes the architect. Another important point is a timeline with stickers that portray the entire trajectory of Consuelo Jorge at CASACOR SP. These are images that reveal the success of their participation in 15 editions.

Designed to be a cozy and intimate environment, the space has a living room and a suite, and integration is the highlight of the project. A rhythmic panel with asymmetrical chamfers that runs through the entire place, covered in Vescom's Bradford Wool fabric, connects the environments. It is the recessed niche cradle, in Living EME Gray stone, by AllForm, which creates contrast between the materials that receive 16 sculptures - Saint Clair - “The Nicklefeet” in nickel-plated bronze, from Galeria Bolsa de Arte.

With a neutral color palette in darker tones to create an intimate and cozy environment, the texture mix is a differential: natural straw, linen and the wood of the Tauari Minimal floor by Consuelo Jorge, by Akafloor, contrast with the Vestirsi collection, by Cinex, of doors and screens in natural weaves, which is curated and in partnership with artisan Claudia Silvestre.

In the living room, a 3.60m curved mustard Pebble sofa, by Daniel Coutinho (Boobam), stands out in the more sober mood of the rugs by Kamy. The Calin armchairs and Cisa coffee tables, by Ronald Sasson, and the Rolimã tea cart, by Claudia Moreira Sales, all from Odara Home, help to compose the environment. Brava coffee tables, sides Asti and Jardim, by Jader Almeida, close this curatorship that is the focal point of this environment together with the work of Eduardo Haesbarth – Inhumano, from Galeria Bolsa de Arte.

To complete the search for coziness, the Jangada armchair, by Jean Gillon, is highlighted right at the entrance of the environment, representing the memory of the furniture. The centerpiece of the project is Cinex's Síntese cabinet, all made of aluminum, transparent glass and scenographic lighting that floats and rests on two volumes of stones, dividing the environments. A conceptual production, with a dress by Estúdio Santa Gana, made of paper from Operação Papel and several other design objects on display, complete the curatorship of the “transparent” closet.

In the bedroom, nostalgia invades the environment with the installation of the 42 telegrams, these postcards now reflect the entire concept of the project in materializing this beautiful tribute. To ensure elegance, the furniture was handpicked: an organic bed by Reveev & OSA, for Odara, in fabric by Quaker, desk and bench by Casa Teo, Tela chair, by Guilherme Wentz, and the Post Mundus chair by Martino Gamper, by Micasa, which serves as support for the bed, form the selection of the pieces. Finally, everything rests on a beautiful Hemp rug, by Kamy. Another highlight of the place are the photos Epidermic Scapes, by Vera Chaves Barcellos, from Galeria Bolsa de Arte, which feature graphic elements of the skin.

Lighting is the strong point of this intimate concept, a project by Elaine Pires from Allure Design de Iluminação, focusing all the light on the works and pieces of art, creating a scenario to welcome everyone in the welcoming atmosphere of this project, the Pop Chateau pendants and decorative lamps are from FAS Lighting.
