This Raw and Morden house is an interior projected designed by the firm Aarunya Architects. Aarunya Architects pursues fun, uniqueness, and unrestrained expressions. The spirit of fashion has long been implanted in the DNA of its team. They have abandoned traditional, restrained, and rational work formulas for unbounded creativity, which propels them to take bolder moves in this house design. The flexible use of circles, arches, and squares builds a sense of depth and compactness in the whole space. Each piece of furniture has a unique art form, which not only demonstrates the taste of the design team but also creates a varied visual experience in the space.

Any first-time visitor to the home will experience a strong visual impact from its rich colors and a change in emotions. It is perhaps not so much as a home but as a runway where a fashion show is going to be put on.

While minimalism has dominated the design market, doing “more” can be more challenging than doing “less.” The principle of de-emphasizing finishes and highlighting furnishings is wholly implemented in Aarunya Architect's office. The creative combination of diversified elements, including the carpets, the furniture, and the wallpaper, gradually removes the stress of daily activities, and plays down conventional restrictions in the home, while maintaining hierarchies. Following the idea that “a home can also be a venue of art,” this home is a rebel against convention. We can see that at the entrance of the home, the open brick wall is highlighted with a classic black and gold main door.

The living space is centered around the dining and kitchen. A crisscrossing circulation route connects the whole space, which brings comfort and openness to the house. Linear lighting adds a sense of futuristic technology. At the same time, the use of shades of blue with golden elements on furniture, and walls introduces a dynamic vibe of fashion to the space.

Subtle earthy tones with gold plated elements are used as dominant hues of the bedroom space, which establishes prominent contrasts, making the space romantic, calm and passionate. Where else black glass for the wardrobe creates contrast within the space. Different ambiances coexist with each other. Subtle colors awaken free will, allowing them to enjoy their private space in a relaxing environment.

What Aarunya Architects did to redefine the house went beyond the superficial aspects. The designers also considered human habits and demands in daily life to delve into the inner harmony between people and their private space.

This bedroom has earthy shades mixed with the tones of black, perfectly balancing the fashion glamour with gold elements. The gold poster bed with black upholstery is the charm of the room, gray furniture for study and black fluted glass wardrobe shutters create harmony and balance in the bedroom.

A series of customized furniture is brought into the home, including multiple small arch storage with black back painted glass circles acting as a partition wall for stairways and living space, another set of partition walls separates the living and kitchen with gold rods forming a modern design, various lines of gold on the walls, and contrasting bold blue furniture. All these ingenious details add a humanistic touch of warmth to the already unique home environment.

Complemented by flamboyant color and lighting, the pure geometric surfaces wrap the users in a lively atmosphere as soon as they step into any room. Amid such an environment, the good old chinwag, the relaxation with once self, and the tasty aroma in the kitchen. Aarunya Architects has balanced and respected mixed behaviour of each space and designed them beautifully.
