In 2003, A front porch and master bathroom to this 1962 split level house in the suburban Atlanta neighborhood. This work was recognized with the 2004 AIA/ Atlanta Business Chronicle Residential Design Citation Award.

Another addition and renovation was completed in February, 2011. This addition added a bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a garden terrace, and a roof terrace. This addition incorporates exposed architectural concrete walls, polished concrete floors, custom steel and glass walls which contain two 6’x10’ pivoting glass doors. Most of the interior of the existing house has also been renovated to open up the kitchen to the living spaces and enable a seamless connectivity between the existing and new.

As sustainable construction advocates, the owners included many sustainable technologies, including solar hot water, rain and condensate harvesting cistern, high efficiency systems, whole house fan, thermally efficient windows, open and closed cell foam insulation that exceed R value standards, and radiant flooring.
