Within walking distance to the gondola for the Steamboat Springs ski resort, the Six-Shooter Lodge is in the perfect location for year-round outdoor entertainment and relaxation. The home sits in the Wild Horse Meadows neighborhood of Steamboat Springs Colorado and blends contemporary design with more traditional detailing to create a unique vacation experience for all seasons.

The lower floor houses the garage, media room, mud room, and mechanical spaces. The main floor contains the living room, kitchen and dining room and is clad with wood soffits and textured wood panel walls that give the spaces a warm cabin feel. The top floor houses 4 bedrooms and a master suite with its own outdoor patio facing the views of the valley beyond. The entry screen is composed of structural steel channels and shields the front door and entry stair to provide much needed shade during the warmer summer months, as well as a sense of privacy year-round. The concrete tiles by 2Stone were used to emulate board formed concrete and provide texture to the home’s composition. The kitchen countertops are Caesarstone "Rugged Concrete" which give the look and feel of concrete both in finish and color. The full height backsplash adds texture up the walls and continues the concrete motif.

This lodge also features radiant flooring throughout, a heated outdoor deck, indoor/outdoor living spaces, and views of Quarry Mountain and the sprawling Steamboat Springs valley. The use of exposed structural steel, reclaimed barn wood, blackened metal panels and board formed concrete tiles, provides the appropriate blend of durability and functionality. The partially covered outdoor deck allows space for outside dining and living as well as a hot tub that looks out to the views. The double-sided fireplace by Heat and Glow offers a central element that is enjoyed from both the indoor living room and outdoor living space, while a 10' bi-folding door by Nana Wall opens up to the deck for late afternoons and evening entertainment. Each element contributes to the home's character, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for a unique mountain getaway.
