Winhouse Architecture's MUSHROOM toilet is located inside Thien But Park, a residential area surrounded by greenery, residents and visitors.

During the day, the white exterior takes all the spotlight as it stands out among the concrete, flora and trees scattered throughout the landscape, the toilet appears to be a mushroom growing in Thien But Park - Quang Ngai City, the toilet is inspired by the design of Thien But Mountain, a famous symbol of Quang Ngai Province.

The architect divided his toilet into 2 separate blocks to create privacy for the disabled with a corridor in the middle divided into 3 directions for easy access from outside Thien But Park. The connecting walkways open around the 2 blocks also aim to prevent privacy by improving the view around the area.

The lobby is highlighted by a mushroctn-shaped stone slab contrasting with the roof image to create a balance for the outside and inside space, the view is also exploited from the seating position towards Thien But park, the breaks between the roof and the wall, especially the grooves carved on the large wall to create ventilation for the toilet are delicately handled. The construction materials are taken from local natural materials combined with modern materials to create harmony with the context of Thien But park.
