The project draws on the site’s history to introduce a new way of living within the existing structure. By preserving the main volumes, roofs, and characteristic elements of the village, while reconstructing and expanding certain parts, this measured transformation maintains the continuity of the built landscape and reveals the building’s potential.

Inside, the spaces are completely reimagined to accommodate a greater number of housing units of various types. Natural light becomes a key design element: spaces open up, circulation paths are simplified, and spatial sequences are diversified. Each unit develops its own identity, shaped by the configuration of the existing structure, ceiling heights, views of the landscape, and outdoor extensions.

The contemporary interventions are expressed with restraint, in constant dialogue with the existing structure. This renovation demonstrates that thoughtful architecture can simultaneously preserve a built heritage, meet current needs, and contribute sustainably to the village’s evolution.
