Concept: A Space With Nothing to Hide
The design for Turner's new offices in Miramar, Florida starts from a clear premise. Create a space through a raw but welcoming, direct physical experience that communicates confidence and innovation.
The goal is to involve everyone who has the opportunity to inhabit the space. To keep them on board, engaged, and performing at their best. The office is conceived as a communication channel where Turner's own experience and knowledge are put on display, openly and without filters.

Six guiding ideas shape the narrative:
Sophisticated. Construction detail and craftsmanship impress clients.
Nothing to hide. The raw construction process becomes a symbol of transparency and traditional values.
Sense of home. A welcoming feel for the local team and anyone who recognizes the history behind the brand.
Neighborhood journey. Different roles within the organization merge into a collective voice.
Building excitement. Points of interest placed throughout the floor keep people engaged as they move through the space.
Communicative. The space engages internal and external audiences and promotes the Turner brand.
A "Nothing to Hide" Aesthetic
The palette and materials translate the contractor's own trade directly into the interior. Raw finishes such as concrete, gabion mesh, construction scaffolding, and exposed ceiling structure run throughout the floor.
These sit alongside warmer, more domestic elements. Natural wood, woven textiles, planting, and soft seating balance the raw and welcoming sides of the brief.
The scaffolding system is the most representative piece of the concept. Reinterpreted as an architectural and lighting element, it reappears as furniture support, light fixture frame, and spatial divider throughout the Townhall.
Color and texture follow the same logic. Navy and teal blues sit against neutral grays and beiges, accented with terracotta, coral, and salmon tones, and layered over terrazzo, gabion stone, concrete, and oak wood.

Spatial Experience and Program
The office occupies 11,600 USF. The plan moves along a journey from the most public to the most private areas.
The Townhall anchors the entrance. A gabion feature wall carries the Turner logo against raw concrete, under a suspended scaffolding structure with lounge seating and a Monstera Deliciosa plant. It connects directly to the Pantry, fitted with a wood island, bar stools, and orb pendant fixtures.
From there, the program unfolds across several zones:
Leadership and private offices Eight private offices for the General Manager, Operations Manager, Deputy Operations Manager, Financial Manager, SPD Manager, Business Development Manager, HR Manager, plus spare offices for RGM, SVP, and EVP roles.
Operational nodes An SPO Node (self perform division) with a manager workstation, six staff workstations, and a collaboration area. Separate nodes for Tech and Innovation and for Financial Management. SPD (Special Projects Division) workstations. Precon/Procurement, the largest team on the floor with seventeen workstations.
Open work areas Two open work area clusters (I and II), organized along the perimeter windows.

Support spaces Two huddle rooms, three phone booths, a medium conference room for ten people, a large one for fourteen, and a divisible multipurpose room that can combine into a single large space. A wellness/maternity room and a lactation room. An employee lounge and a kitchen/breakroom. IDF/IT storage, general storage, and a janitor's closet.
Expansion Area A flexible social zone furnished with foosball and ping pong tables, plus a pegboard wall used to display construction process imagery.
Materiality and Design Language
Flooring Interface modular carpet, from the Monochrome and Net Effect collections, runs through most of the floor. Malt and Persimmon mark private offices and collaboration areas. Caspian and Seal define open work areas. North Sea covers conference and multipurpose rooms. Majestic appears in huddle rooms and phone booths.
LVT in Steady Stride Concretes (Dove) lines the walkways. A custom Wausau terrazzo (Reflection Series, Platinum) marks the Townhall and Pantry. Restrooms receive Anders Glacier porcelain tile. Area rugs in Cream and Persimmon define the Townhall and Expansion Area.
Walls General paint in Graytint (Benjamin Moore) covers most surfaces. Accent tones add identity to each zone: Ashen Tan and Storm in private offices, Lightfoot Salmon and Coral Bells in phone booths and the Expansion Area, Carter Gray as a flexible accent, Polo Blue in restrooms and multipurpose rooms, Aegean Teal in huddle rooms.
Restrooms and the lactation room add Highwater Turchese scallop pattern porcelain tile alongside Glacier tile. Felt acoustic panels from Filzfelt wrap the phone booths. Mcontrast panels (Vertigo Trapeze) texture the huddle and conference rooms.
The SPO Node stands out with wood paneling and a pegboard wall. A custom digital wallcovering from Wolf Gordon, featuring Turner's own construction imagery, lines the main corridor.

Ceilings Exposed structure runs over collaboration areas and workstations. Standard acoustic tile covers offices and meeting rooms. Gypsum ceiling and black painted acoustic tile finish the multipurpose room, reinforcing the project's under construction feel.
Millwork Solid surface in Cabrini Grey, wood veneer and laminate in a Natural Oak finish, and Canadian Grey melamine for cabinet interiors unify the casework across the floor.
Lighting Recessed panels light private offices. Industrial low bay pendants hang in huddle rooms. An acoustic pendant marks collaboration areas, an orb pendant the pantry. Track spotlights run along the walkways, and a trapezoid pattern linear pendant covers the open work areas.

Raw materials drawn from Turner's own construction trade pair with warmer, more domestic accents. Together they let the office narrate the company's building the future identity.
The result supports a full range of work modes. Focused private offices, high energy collaboration zones, and informal social spaces come together for Turner's new Miramar, FL headquarters.
