The brief for that venue, was to totally renovate a local in an old building in the center of the city, enjoying a good visibility, to create a modern and atypical restaurant dedicated to the oriental cuisine of the Levant countries (Turkey, Lebanon, Israel…). The place had to evoke the traditional character of this cuisine and culture, but by giving it a dimension of intense modernity, which would distinguish it from other traditional places.

The restaurant was created as a place full of natural light, with bright walls enhanced by fresh and sparkling colors. On ceiling, hanged fabrics seems to keep the room from south’s heat. On floor, tiles with old-fashioned accents evoke a past splendor. In the traditional way, walls are dressed with faience. The two different counters are underlined by brass details and their generous curves make echo at the dome of the oven. Vegetation and tainted glass complete the whole.
