During the UN Climate Conference being held in Copenhagen from 7th to 18th December, cor light together with lighting designer Steven Scott and Danish architects 3XN will be showcasing the sustainable lighting solution of today.
The lighting systems which have been produced by ewo form part of a pilot project and illuminate the area directly in front of the Bella Center, where the UN Climate Conference is taking place.
The light systems developed in close cooperation between manufacturer, light specialist and designer are based upon cor light technology. DS 31 lighting units were used that can be configured in many different ways. In the case of this project, the module was fitted with 3 CREE XP-E LEDs (Cool White - 6,000 K) and powered with 350 mA.
The luminaires are installed on top of a mast system developed by Scotia on which photovoltaic panels have been mounted. The internationally active lighting designer Steven Scott, founder of Scotia, has realised many projects throughout Scandinavia and works in close partnership with 3XN who are responsible for the drafting of the designs.
