Villa Ug is the transformation of an existing bungalow into a modern villa. All existing spaces are optimized and extended to create a comfortable new home. In the transformation many building materials are re-used to achieve cost effectiveness and to reduce the amount of waste and building material.
The existing roof is lifted to have a more efficient use of the first floor, that allows a more open floor plan on the ground floor. The characteristic sloped roofs are brought back into the new construction and optimized to become a quality in the interior.
