The renovation of this building, designed as a space for innovative learning, aims to create environments that fully reflect the client’s values: innovation, flexibility, and openness.

The existing architecture is enhanced through the recovery and exposure of the reinforced concrete structural frame, left visible and in dialogue with a striking rear wall composed of stone and concrete. These material elements shape the identity of the space, giving the intervention a strong sense of authenticity and character.

The project unfolds around a large open-plan area conceived as a fluid internal landscape, where visual continuity becomes a tool to encourage interaction, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas. The spaces are designed to establish a constant dialogue between interior and exterior, as well as between people and space.

Essential and expressive materials define the architectural language of the project: steel characterizes the façade portals and custom-designed furnishings, while oak wood shapes the iconic stepped seating that dominates the main space. Exposed concrete reinforces the industrial character of the intervention, while glass partitions and surfaces introduce light, transparency, and visual permeability.

The classrooms, defined by high acoustic-performance glass partitions, balance openness and comfort, ensuring both concentration and visual connection with the shared spaces. The flooring alternates between porcelain stoneware and parquet, creating a refined material dialogue that subtly distinguishes functions and circulation paths throughout the interior.
