The core that opens eyes Volkswagen Brand Pavilion opens in the Autostadt, Wolfburg. Berlin based PLEXgroup has overseen the complete design and implementation.
The new Volkswagen Brand Pavilion in the Autostadt in Wolfsburg will be opened by Volkswagen Board Christian Klinger. The PLEXgroup have worked for over a year on this new concept for the pavilion at Volkswagen’s headquarters. The approximately one million visitors to the Autostadt each year can now experience the Brand Core, a 16 meter high, spiral formed media sculpture, within the cubical glass structure of the Brand Pavilion. The sculpture is the central attraction, a huge crystalline screen, upon which visitors can interact with images, sound and gestures. The task of the pavilion is to convey Volkswagen’s values, feelings, experiences and expectations to a multi-sensory experience – indeed, to literally make the brand accessible. The Brand Core represents the key skills of the Berlin design agency, PLEXgroup: From concept communication through architecture, media design and programming, to complete project implementation.
