The architects «AS Scenario Interiørarkitekter MNIL» gave great attention to the interior design when planning the Norwegian headquarters of the Finnish corporation «Wartsilä». Its interior design is meant to reflect the raw nature of the small island «Stord», where the building is located. For this purpose, perforated oak plywood panels have been used by the architects. Lasered at BRUAG, the perforated plywood represents the beautiful nature as well as the spirit of an innovative 21st century company. Founded in 1834, the company is a leading manufacturer of ship motors and other energy sources, making a turnover of nearly five billion Euros.
