This conceptual project was designed as an attempt to harmonize a sanctuary with cascading water. The idea behind the design was to create a water curtain, subtly parted by two divisions that bend gently toward the base. The enigmatic facade of the sanctuary is intended to evoke a sense of wonder, leaving the full structure concealed. Two slabs delicately part the water, inviting passersby to explore and uncover the hidden space within.
The sanctuary serves as a passage carved through a rocky cliff. The path subtly meanders, forming small rooms and niches throughout the structure. The passage is open to the sky, allowing natural light to filter through and lending the space a mystical character. Inside, the primary material is shiny mosaic tile, chosen for its ability to diffuse light and enhance the ethereal atmosphere of the sanctuary.
