Stephen Ehrlich Architects chose Bendheim’s U-profile channel glass for the Westwood Branch Library, located in a Los Angeles neighborhood that prides itself on design. The eye-catching facade features 20-foot-tall, tempered glass channels. The channel glass curtain walls bring in daylight and lend the library a modern appearance.

Located at Wilshire Boulevard and the Freeway, the $6 million Westwood library, one of 36 libraries benefiting from a 1998 Library Bond Program, is among the last to be completed. The 12,500-square foot project was constructed on time, within the confines of some of the most stringent building codes in the country. The area’s seismic activity requirements are managed through the performance of Bendheim’s precision engineered, patented frame system. The project features a combination of our 504 Rough Cast and Clarissimo textures.
