In the period between December 2014 and March 2016, the new Bregenz-Pfänderhang was built. A low-energy residential house with four residential floors and large-scale south-facing balconies. All the rooms of the six apartments - including bathrooms and toilets - are naturally exposed.
The south façade of the complex impresses with its meandering appearance, which extends over the three upper floors, giving the residential building individuality and character. The dominant frame of the striking design element is a white plaster surface. The development zone in the north is visually remote from the rest of the building. In the interior of the building, a staircase and a lift connect the individual floor levels.
In addition to the cellar rooms and the house technology, the carport also accommodates a carport directly accessible from the Steinbruchgasse, which can accommodate four vehicles. Two above-ground pitches supplement this car parking lot.
A gas heating to heat the apartments provides the necessary energy. It is supported by solar collectors, which also heat the process water.
Overall, the complex is characterized by a modern architectural language of form, a bright design of the apartments as well as a green space.
