We began this project in September 2010 and are hoping to have it completed by the end of 2011. The main materials we have used are glass and stone. The downstairs part of the house has been divided into two sectors, 'life by day' and 'life by night', as in this particular house we have designed a ball room, as the owners are a young outgoing couple who enjoy having large gatherings in their house. The section used mostly at night is very dark and black is the dominant colour, whereas the day section is the exact opposite, where we have made the space very bright, and have added soft rugs and fabrics to warm up the glass interior.
