The lot on which Felix House is built offers excellent views, with the particularity that the house faces its main rooms to the south, but its best orientation is to the street. That is to say, visuals and sunlight are dissociated, and we all know that both are fundamental values in a contemporary home. To solve this, we proposed a series of green patios, that capture the sun so that it enters the main rooms and the gallery. In this way we compensate for this shortcoming and achieve a bright, sunny house with the best views.

In the back, a large gallery with a patio acts as a connector between the interior and exterior. A series of openings in the ceiling guarantee optimal light entry into the rooms.

The large social area on the ground floor is covered with light oak panels, a noble material that provides warmth. The furniture, made of wood and neutral tones, has contemporary and minimalist lines, complementing the architecture of the house perfectly.

The kitchen, with a large island that functions as a breakfast area, extends towards a small integrated playroom, because they have small children and the idea is to have them in sight while the family carries out their daily activities. A series of mobile wooden panels integrate or separate the kitchen from the main rooms, depending on the needs of the moment.

The upper floor has a more conventional program, with three bedrooms, the main one en suite, and all of them, as well as the bathrooms, with direct views of the lagoon. The bathrooms enjoy these views without losing privacy, because they have a system of brise soleil that guarantee both characteristics. All materials used in construction are noble and designed to last. We use exposed concrete formwork with phenolics for the walls, , anodized aluminum carpentry, natural wood and porcelain tile inside and full LED lighting to guarantee a sustainable house with minimal maintenance during its useful life.
