This expanded, two-story Loft K in Berlin Mitte is characterized by flowing horizontal and vertical transitions, emphasizing both openness and spaciousness. The interior architecture offers spaces for transparency and simultaneously for privacy. WrocLOFT it’s an adaptation of a former gymnastic hall in a heritage-listed and over 100 years old building. Caption THE BUILDING: The building’s function was changed from its original educational purpose to residential use as part of a developer-led commercialization process. From the open space of the gymnastic hall, two residential units were created. This small apartment, located in a former industrial space, perfectly embodies the characteristics of an urban loft. The main challenge was managing the limited space and the arrangement of the openings. A two-level apartment in Sochi has joined the collection of unusual projects of our studio. The task from the customers was to create an interior in the usual loft style with the addition of original spatial solutions. The area of the apartment is small-67 sq. m, but our designers took into account the needs of all residents, including little dog york. Beneath the Brick Gate of the Vyšehrad Fortress lay an abandoned and unused attic space. The architect behind the reconstruction discovered this space during the COVID-19 lockdown and instantly fell in love with it. Work on the project began in 2019. The object is located in a cottage village with multi-apartment, four-storey buildings in the Moscow region. From the windows of the apartment you can see the coniferous forest and the river. Caption  The customer wanted a complex interior with many details, recreation areas and secret loopholes, but with a minimum number of doors. Brutal minimalism in its natural form is how this project of our studio can be described. The 68 m2 apartment is located in Rostov-on-Don and is designed for a couple with two cats. Artist, interior designer, and ardor—studio founder Michiel Hilbrink designed a 60sqm/645sqft home for his family of three in Amsterdam’s east end. The peaceable, minimalist, and timeless space is a study in achieving comfort without clutter.   The top-floor apartment with tall, pitched ceilings offers a comfortable lifestyle for its small size.
