FOREST ENGAWA

The term "Forest Engawa" is a combination of a Japanese architectural element and the context of our project. The project of a single-family house in Miłoszyce near Wrocław is a contemporary interpretation of a single-story pavilion immersed in a forest clearing. The building was conceived as a calm, horizontal form that does not dominate the landscape but enters into an equal dialogue with it. The starting point was the need to create a house with a distinct identity while being maximally integrated with the surrounding forest and the daily routine of its inhabitants. MUS ARCHITECTS Concept, Context, and Assumptions The architecture of the house is shaped by a combination of Japan-inspired minimalism with functionality and warmth c... More

MUGLER SHOWROOM MILANO

Careful attention to materials, sharp cuts, bold geometries, and the combination of seemingly contrasting elements—hallmarks of both Mugler —served as the foundation for the installation conceived by MOITIÉ STUDIO, a young Milan-based interior design firm, for the Massimo Bonini showroom. Silvia Rivoltella Unveiled during Milan Fashion Week alongside the presentation of the historic French maison’s new footwear collection, the installation features a sequence of mirrored structures set against a soft blush-toned carpet and neutral hues, designed to evoke a dreamy, muffled mood. Silvia Rivoltella The mirrored surfaces of the display volumes reflect the stunning fresco of the main floor at Palazzo Borromeo... More

White Harbor Retreat

The key thing about this home was the location and the site; it is on a really prominent lot on Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota – the type of lot that you don’t come across for sale everyday, so we wanted to of course create a home design that takes advantage of those amazing views.  JMAD JMAD JMAD JMAD We wanted to create something classic and timeless in style and form – and shingle style. So the home features an abundance of glass on the back side looking out on the lake with all the key primary living spaces, also the outdoor living is on the back of the house with a pool that you access from the lower level and a screen porch that allows you to live outdoors for a good part of the year. House in Wrocław

The house in Wroclaw was quite a challenge for us - a big limitation was the unusual, irregular shape of the plot, and the location of the entrance - the access to the building is located between existing buildings, so we had many obstacles when designing.  TRZY.BE ARCHITEKCI TRZY.BE ARCHITEKCI TRZY.BE ARCHITEKCI   The plot itself is also not very large, and in the functional plan that investors assumed, in addition to standard living quarters for a family of 2+2, we also had to plan for a large, as much as 40-square-meter art studio room for one of the owners. In view of the investors' passion for art, we were not afraid to propose a more daring form - the terrace at the living area and the two-car carport h... Renovation on the top floor of a residence overlooking the Marche hills. On the west side, where there was a large balcony, two large windows were opened to enjoy the view. By "emptying" the attic, the living-dining area was enhanced by enriching it with the installation of a modern fireplace carved into the wall; a row of storage units between the living and sleeping areas simulates a real spine, which is the origin of the interior distribution. V HOUSE

We communicate with the client's family comparing visual references to be sure that we understand colors and characteristics the same way; we do notes, trying to catch live reactions and emotions; we summarize it  in accurate meanings and tables; we send it to our clients and give some time to think it over. And confirm everything again and again and only after that we start to design. Caption Creating a place for a family is a huge responsibility. In fact that means we plan a daily background that influences people. Caption Light has the main role in this project. It is reflected from the surfaces, fulfils, creates and models complicated and intense relationships between things.  Caption Light reveals the depth... More

K HOUSE

Dynamic terrain and plot configuration set basic volumes of architecture: we can see two levels of uncluttered silhouette from the street and all four levels with stairs and terraces from the yard. Caption It was interesting to form a logic of interconnection between levels for a comfortable usage of each. Caption Thus, we have a gym and a hammam on the ground level as well as entrance to a swimming pool are. Caption On the second level there are common and kitchen areas, dining and living areas. Here we also have a large terrace with an awning and there’s a place with water. Caption On the third level we have master bedrooms and on the fourth there’s a master block with a private terrace. Arruda 105

Arruda 105 is a rehabilitation and expansion project of a building located on Cândido dos Reis Street in Arruda dos Vinhos, aiming to create a single-family dwelling. Based on the program proposed by the client, the intervention took into account the study of the existing structure and its relationship with the surrounding built environment, as it is one of the most important axes in the historic center of Arruda dos Vinhos. Nuno Almendra The existing building consisted of two floors and an adjacent plot with a generally rectangular configuration from east to west. The existing construction already had the main access level at Cândido dos Reis Street, with the existing plot situated approximately four meters above the grou... More
