The concept for the Med Uni Campus Graz is based on the integration of work, teaching, and leisure spaces on a shared inner-city site. The project implements a clearly structured ensemble of coherent yet differentiated buildings, taking various requirements into account as far as possible. The development plan of Hello Wood won second place in the planning competition for MCC’s resort development in Révfülöp near Lake Balaton. Located in the park of the Bavarian capital, created for the 1972 Olympic games, the campus houses the Department of Sport and Health Sciences of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The slogan of the Olympic games, ›Light, freshness and generosity‹ represents also our design. The airy, pavilion-like spacious building made of wood and glass provides a clear layout for the various research, training and sports facilities. Contemporary and respectful of its environment, the campus was designed in direct contact with the ground and vegetation, so that it lives to the rhythm of the seasons.
