The project involves the renovation and expansion of a traditional stone structure in Fasano, Brindisi, creating two independent residences for owners and guests. Located in the hills of Fasano, the property is surrounded by 8,000 m² of olive groves. A pathway bordered by dry stone walls and two monumental oaks leads to a semicircular courtyard, providing access to the residence. Scattered throughout the locality, the premises of the Fosses-la-Ville municipal administration had become too small, and the town hall on a plot in the center offered no possibility for expansion. At the end of 2008, to meet its new needs, the municipality turned its attention to the Winson Castle, dating back to the 12th century, along with its incredible three-hectare estate protected by a surrounding wall.
