L-shaped Wall – STEELAB SML: Design and Functional Planters for Large-Scale GreeningInspired by traditional precast concrete walls, the STEELAB SML L-shaped wall system uses modular assembly to create fully customized layouts. Sheet metal brings both aesthetics and functionality to this innovative concept.
From an architectural standpoint, the façade panels provide a clean, contemporary look. A wide range of finishes is available: powder-coated aluminium in any RAL shade, weathering steel (Corten®), or polished stainless steel for a refined appearance.
Designed for large bottomless planters, the SML system combines straight and corner modules to easily define and structure planting zones.

Fibre cement is frost-resistant, rot-proof and non-combustible (classified M0 / A2-s1,d0 according to EN 13-501-1). It is also resistant to saline and even chlorinated environments, making it the ideal material for use by the sea or around swimming pools.This material is quite heavy, which has the advantage of keeping pots perfectly stable in high winds. Future Simple Studio develops a serene sushi restaurant concept in Montreal
In Montreal, Future Simple Studio was approached to generate a new experience for the popular dining concept Sushibox. The studio’s redesign for the existing space, which includes a take-out area, dining room, and bar, features geometric shapes, elemental materials, and handcrafted details to create a uniquely serene environment with a slightly brutalist feel.
