Woodfac Click

Woodfac Click is an open, fire-safe wooden facade system that combines design, aesthetics and flexibility like no other. Wooden lamellae are mounted on a robust aluminium structure — horizontally or vertically, at exactly the spacing and expression you want — letting you play with light, shadow and material combinations for a lively, dynamic architecture. It is the only wood facade system on the market with full B-s1,d0 and B-s2,d0 fire classification, fire-tested and approved to EN 14915 and EN 16755 — suitable even for buildings with the strictest fire-protection requirements. The lamellae use FSC®- or PEFC™-certified wood, protected by a Cradle-to-Cradle-certified flame retardant made from 100% natural substa... More

Alufac Panel

Alufac Panel is a flexible, aesthetic aluminium facade cladding built as a closed climate envelope that protects the building from wind and weather while staying breathable thanks to rear ventilation. It's the closed counterpart to Napsu — and comparable to Woodfac Panel, but with aluminium slats instead of wood. Its modular structure lets you vary slat lengths, spacings and designs, and combine materials freely, so the facade reflects the unique character of each building. The system is mounted entirely without visible screws for a clean, sharp, uninterrupted appearance, and integrated thermal movement lets every component expand and contract independently — eliminating internal stress and structural damage. Slats are freely... More

Napsu

Napsu is a flexible, open facade system built from vertical or horizontal aluminium slats (lamellae) mounted on an aluminium substructure. Its modular design lets you configure slat lengths and spacings freely, and install them horizontally, vertically, or as ceiling and roof cladding — so the facade adapts to the building, not the other way around. Mounted entirely without visible screws, Napsu delivers a sharp, seamless and harmonious appearance, while integrated thermal movement lets each component expand and contract independently, preventing internal stress or structural damage. As an open system, Napsu is ideal for both full and partial cladding and combines easily with perforated panels, expanded metal, trapezoidal sheet, sol... More

Portuguese Rustic Limestone Rectangular Wall Cladding

LYGHT

The tall office building, accompanied by its expansive flat side extension, was ideally situated: Golzheim is a well-connected and diverse neighborhood. In 2019, we collaborated with the MOMENI Griup, residents, and local stakeholders in the “Westlich Kennedydamm” workshop to envision the area's future development, considering various usage needs and conditions. Building upon this groundwork, we set out to rejuvenate the former Nordstern insurance company branch. Functionally, the building was well designed by Philipp Holzmann AG and built in 1973 to high standards. But in many ways, it had become dated. We embarked on a comprehensive reprogramming of the existing structure for MOMENI, resulting in LYGHT – a revitalized sp... More

P&C HQ

The concept of the ‘architectural boundary’ has long been a compelling topic for exploring the gaps and relationships between buildings and the city. The epidermis, or outer skin, which forms this boundary, functions as more than just a protective shell-it becomes an individual object within the urban landscape and serves as a visual and spatial interface that interacts with its surroundings in multifaceted ways. In this project, the designer sought to move beyond a passive facade, intentionally adding depth and richness to the building’s skin to actively engage with its urban context. This design strategy aimed to reframe the architectural surface as a medium of communication and connection, rather than mere visual orname... More
