Sleepy Hollow House

This project was an extensive top to bottom remodel of a 1953 midcentury modern home in a suburb of Washington D.C.  Originally designed by Clyde J. Verkerke as his own home, Michael Cook updated and embellished based on the original elevations and layout. East Cascades House

This project is a vacation home for a family to enjoy the beauty of Swauk Prairie in Hidden Valley near Cle Elum, Kittitas County, Washington. It was a highly collaborative project between the owners, Syndicate Smith (Steve Booher lead), Mandy Callaway, and Merle Inc. Gorge House

This project was thoughtfully executed for a growing family that wanted to be surrounded by beauty.  The site captures both Columbia Gorge and Mt. Hood views, and it was meticulously designed and built by a team of conscientious architects and tradespeople. Gladys Valley Marine Studies Building

The Marine Studies Building is heavily engineered to be a vertical evaluation structure with supplies on the rooftop to support over 920 people for up to two days post a Cascadia level event. The addition of this building thus improves the safety of those that work and play at the Hatfield Marine Science Center and in the surrounding South Beach community. The MSB uses state-of-the-art architectural and engineering techniques to make it one of the first “vertical evacuation” tsunami sites in the United States.
