The historic row of houses at Oberamteistraße 28–32, together with the surviving basement of the ‘Stone House’ that once occupied no. 34 before its demolition in 1972, forms one of Reutlingen’s oldest surviving groups of buildings. Dating back to the 13th century, when the city was founded, the row reflects the development of building and living culture over the centuries in southern Germany. The idea for this mixed-use project located in Bangalore, was context based and inspired by the architects need for an office space while retaining the residential flavor of the layout. The road is filled with commercial buildings on both sides. The site lies on the busy road with a peaceful and large DDA park on the backside. This disparity in the environments in front and backside of the site set the ground for spatial planning.​ While the average height is 3 stories in the locality atrium tower is a mammoth 7 story high tower. The Gate Aveneue at DIFC is an 880-metre long promenade in Dubai with shops and restaurants connecting the buildings in the Gate Avenue financial district.
