La Primavera House is located in the rural area of Calera de Tango, in Chile’s Metropolitan Region. Set on a 20,000 m² flat site, the project consists of a single-level family residence with a built area of 650 m². Nicolás Saieh Constructed entirely in exposed reinforced concrete, the house features exterior walls that appear to float over the surrounding vegetation or the reflecting pool that accompanies the entrance. These elements are both expressive and functional—serving to shield the home from prevailing winds and create visual screens between interior spaces. Located on a plot with open views and a serene setting in Pilar, this residence explores the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces through strategically placed patios that shape the design and enhance natural light and cross ventilation. The architectural project was born with the request for a recreational and leisure shelter for own use or to be rented for seasons in the city of Cañada de Gómez, province of Santa Fe, in a sector of the city where there is an abundance of weekend homes. This led to adopt as a fundamental premise the withdrawal of the construction towards the back of the lot to generate a generous park in front, dominated by a swimming pool. CR House welcomes us with a facade that clearly expresses the project's intention. The front is defined by volumes that intertwine through green spaces, bringing the exterior landscape into the interior. The house is located in Torre en Conill, Bétera, it is a house completely open to east  orientation, where the fields of the golf club are located, on the ground floor the house is distributed in two areas, on the one hand two rooms with their respective bathrooms and on the other side a large space where the large living room and kitchen is located, this large space is flanked on one side by a cantilevered staircase, supported by a concrete wall and on the other side in the large windows that open the space towards the garden. A building at the back of an existing house and the re-functionalization of the own dwelling were the main issues of this project. Some basic operations define the search for a connection between the original building and the new one. A growing family, a change of uses and a fondness for gastronomy define the new program. The social area of the original house is projected by modifying the kitchen, storage and counter areas and secluding the play area in the interior. A small addition is used as a link between the pre-existing and the new in a search for a common language that does not look for adaptation or reproduction. The PYE house was built on a very narrow and deep lot in Escobar, in the northern part of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, which has a huge North-orientated diving wall.
