The Nuevo Hospital Universitario de Cuenca in Cuenca, a city in the autonomous region of Castile-La Mancha in Spain, is a large-scale healthcare facility that serves as the region’s central healthcare hub. The project was carried out between 2008 and 2025. The hospital’s architecture combines functional efficiency with clearly structured spatial layouts, thereby meeting the requirements of a modern clinical facility. A sprawling building complex was constructed on a site covering around 189,000 m² with a built-up area of over 98,000 m². Custom Metallic and Mica finishes from #ALPOLIC work together on the envelope of the Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital at the University of Utah to create a welcoming environment that also harmonizes with its natural surroundings. The shining copper color and pearlescent warmth of the Mica metal composite materials evoke a sense of calm and comfort.  Use of these finishes is particularly noticeable on the large canopy at the hospital's entrance. Paired together, the colors extend from the building to shield incoming patients and visitors from the sun, and draw them into a similarly designed place of solace and healing. Nanjing Public Medical Center

Description Located in Qinglong Mountain in the southeast of Nanjing, the ecological features of its location, such as mountains, forests and lakes, is what makes Nanjing Public Medical Center so special. Its topology characteristic can be described as higher in the west and lower in the east, with two valleys in the north and the middle, making it easy to connect with the arterial road in the east, while contributing to the charm of the unique feature of the mountainous area. Meander Hospital

In Amersfoort a beautiful modern hospital has recently been build. Through the use of 5000 m² timber cladding the Meander Medical Centre now has a professional and friendly appearance. Carpenters from Foreco Timber Constructions have mounted a framework on the outer wall to apply the timber cladding of Western Red Cedar. The external cladding received a fire retardant treatment of SafeWood® Select. Unique about this treatment is that it is a maintenance free fire retardant. Since some cladding has a hight of 42 meters this was one of the requirements of timber. More
