Boasting spectacular views across the Dubai skyline, AURA SKYPOOL is the world's highest 360° infinity pool. Despite its ultra urban location at the top of the Palm Tower skyscraper on the manmade Jumeirah archipelago, the interior’s design takes cues from the natural world. That includes a rock formation-inspired sculptural wall, reclaimed wood, and plentiful plants. Located above the Sunset Strip in Hollywood Hills, the Sunset Plaza opens up to the surrounding landscape allowing the project to utilize all of the relatively flat site, unique to the hills. The design has been primarily driven by the motivation to extend the precedent established by the modern architecture of Rudolph Schindler, Richard Neutra, and Carl Maston found in the area. The clients asked for an indoor-outdoor experience, addressing the dramatic views from the inside out while still regulating the views from outside in. The project`Villa Cyprus`is a country house located in southern Cyprus. The complex as a whole consists of a 560 sq.m residential block, two swimming pools located on two levels, recreation areas and a technical block with indoor parking and outbuildings. The residential area is located on one level with panoramic glazing overlooking the swimming pools and the Mediterranean Sea.    The main house boasts two bedrooms, four bathrooms, two dressing rooms, a living room / home cinema, kitchen, and dining room. In the case where the property was not flat, the farmer was building retaining walls with the stones he had taken out of the field, a technique that preserved the precious soil from being washed away and turned the slope into arable terraces ("pezoules" ). Landscape Design Workshop has won a 2018 Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects design award in the Residential category for their project AMLI Sawgrass Village. The project site is located in the City of Sunrise with two residential buildings and a parking garage tucked in between. The 350-apartment community also includes a free standing leasing center, a dog park and intimate garden spaces. Each building is overlooking an interior courtyard. The Tortola Residence is nestled in a heavily wooded site on the north side of Tortola. Taking advantage of the steep site and views toward the Atlantic the strategy was to create a project in stark contrast with the rugged vegetation covering the site, which also elevates from the surrounding topography to ensure views to the sea.Beginning with two stacked volumes, a series of pushes and pulls creates a monolithic sculptural object while providing program areas for a deck/pool, living volume, and sleeping volume. The sleeping volume hovers over the deck providing shade and space in front of the living room. The face of these volumes is then removed and replaced entirely with glass, revealing the inside of the home, and allow...
