Villa Romilia

Villa Romilia is a set of twin houses on the seashore; The Boide team intervenes in the interior design of one of the 2 houses in charge of MAGV Arquitectos. The conceptualization in “Villa Romilia” was based on the idea of reflecting through patterns and textures a “MEDITERRANEAN DUNE” where the dune is defined as: an accumulation of sand in a rounded or half-moon shape that pushes and generates the wind. on the beach or in the desert. And the Mediterranean: relating to establishments located near the coast that is in the middle of the planet. With this idea we use WARM COLORS AND SOFTNESS IN PATTERNS AND TEXTURES as a base. Without so many partitions, without so many rooms, without conventional doors or endless corridors. They want a house where light floods everything, a warm house without compartmentalisation. Fran Álvarez A simple complicity arises, we speak the same language. They trust us and let us know it. This trust allows us to project freely, to reflect on the different ways of living. Karinox Coffee

Karinox Coffee is a project built in Phan Rang - Ninh Thuan with a total area of 2800 m2 with a total investment of 50 billion VND. This project was directly designed and constructed by Delicate in only 9 months from the time we received the submission. In this project, the investor wants to create a building that is symbolic of the sunny and windy land of Phan Rang. Writing the first sketches, we chose to combine two main elements: Nature and Culture for this story.  Hoàng Lê   Nature is the first factor that inspires the design team. Because as the saying goes, "Wind like Phang, sun like Rang", Phan Rang welcomed us to the field survey on a day of bright sunshine but still with a very strong wind. This s... More

Casa Roverella

Casa Roverella is a villa created to embrace nature. The house is located in Puglia, halfway between Ostuni and Cisternino, in the Valle d'Itria, an area that inspired the entire project. The main intention was immediately to seek a dialogue with the natural elements present on the ground. A large oak tree gave the initial inspiration that led to the entire house being structured around it, making it the true protagonist of the project. Alex Reyto Alex Reyto Alex Reyto Every corner is designed to experience the spaces in continuity between inside and outside. The infinity pool makes you lose sight of the boundary between water and land, the outdoor spaces are livable in several places, allowing the house to continue to be w... More

1. Marziyeh, the architect who helped us here at Rooydaad for three years, making our architectural endeavors brighter, sat before us one day, overwhelmed with fear and anxiety, and confessed that she no longer felt passionate about architecture and desired to focus solely on painting—a revelation that seemed incongruous given her professionalism and proficiency in her role. Rooydaad Architects    We encouraged her to weigh up her decision, considering its gravity. Ultimately, we agreed that she could transition to a part-time role at Rooydaad, allowing her to pursue her newfound passion for painting alongside her architectural duties. 2. A year later, Marziyeh returned, her resolve unwavering, to announce that she wa... More

CASA ACERBIS

"Typological hybridization" is the theme that characterizes this project, which on one hand, completes the historical building curtain of the street on the square, reinterpreting the traditional elements of the typical architecture of the historic center of Albino, while on the other hand, it transforms into a villa with a garden on the inner courtyard. Marcello Mariana Marcello Mariana Marcello Mariana Albino is a small town where everyone knows each other, and we have often discussed with our clients the beauty of living in the square, of going out on foot and meeting friends and being able to have a coffee at the corner bar, but also of being able to stay isolated and protected in a villa that opens onto a private interna... A doorless house

The attic of this house was filled with toys, furniture, and dust. It was a completely open space, approximately 70 square meters, that was barely used. Therefore, the clients commissioned us to convert this attic into a house for their children and guests. A small house that would have a living room, a bedroom, a fireplace, plenty of storage, and a bathroom. Imagen Subliminal Imagen Subliminal Analyzing this place, we soon understood that this house had to break with the usual hierarchies found in the rest of its floors. The project should not replicate the old formula of big boxes and small boxes, where each function is completely isolated by walls, which only open through doors. A typology that forces each room to have a speci... More

The Cabanon

The Cabanon is a fully equipped apartment of 6.89 m² including two infrared saunas and a whirlpool bath. It is organized into four spaces, extravagantly different in materials and heights: a 3 m-high living room, a 1.14 m-high bedroom with plenty of storage, a toilet with a rain-shower, and a spa. The spa is the most enclosed space of the Cabanon: the room within a room. The Cabanon is probably the smallest apartment in the world; certainly the smallest with a spa. Ossip Architectuur Fotografie The Cabanon is the conversion of an existing attic used for storage into a living space. It is located on the top floor of a 1950’s residential building in the centre of Rotterdam. Its inside dimensions are H: 3 m, W: 1,97 m, L: 3,6... More
