Muta is a fusion cuisine restaurant with a distinct international flavor located in the province of Naples. The concept stems from the need to rethink a smaller space compared to the previous location, while maintaining a fresh, welcoming, elegant, and contemporary atmosphere, far removed from the traditional burger pub imagery. The interiors are crafted using refined materials such as walnut wood for the furnishings and Carrara marble for the tables, combined with steel and jacquard velvet “Tiger Mountain” by Dedar Milano, used for the bench coverings running along the walls. The restaurant Casa Vittoria overlooks one of the most charming squares in the Chiaia district of Naples, just a few steps from the sea. Located on the ground floor of a historic building from the late 19th century, the venue showcases typical architecture with vaulted ceilings and thick-walled rooms connected by discreet openings. A well-loved shanghai institution, Shake first appeared on the scene in 2016. This casual and high-energy, live-music bar was ready for a revamp. Key to the project was to retain the soul of the place that was so familiar to its loyal customers. Nampa House is a restaurant that originated from a homemade food that has been descended over 200 years within a noble family. The designer has taken inspiration from the nature surrounding the old house of Nampa and its everyday objects. Naju where Nampa house is located is known for traditional craftmanship including weaving, carpentry, dyeing, and basketry. These local traditional characteristics are also applied to the design such as a translucent curtain which resembles weaved linen. Enclosed by five-meter ceilings and plate glass windows, the restaurant consists of an airy open plan space with an interior aesthetic drawn from mid-century Milanese cafés, but adapted and modernised to feel contemporary in the early 2020s. Some of the walls are finished in concrete plaster, while others are hidden behind a long velvet theatrical curtain. The floor is mainly palladiana terrazzo apart from the area adjacent to the brick counter.  Generous natural lighting is complemented by a giant lightbox above the open kitchen, and designer neon lights scattered throughout the space.
