Blue Rock Swim Club

The existing space, once an underutilized brewing area for the restaurant above, presented a unique design challenge: how to seamlessly integrate a private entrance while preserving the existing floorplate. The solution lay in repurposing an adjacent service corridor as the primary point of entry, transforming a logistical necessity into a design opportunity. Central to the concept was the client’s vision—an evocative nod to the venue’s name, Blue Rock Swim Club, conjuring the allure of an abandoned underground bathhouse overtaken by a bar. Eymeric Widling Drawing inspiration from legendary establishments like House TO, the design team embraced a bold, brutalist approach, carving a dramatic pool cutout into the found... More

Its desks and chairs have accompanied the education of thousands of Spaniards, becoming a reference in school furniture. With the design of its new headquarters, created by Clap Studio in Tavernes de la Valldigna, Spain, the brand returns to its roots in a space designed to find balance between work and rest—an environment conceived to foster concentration in a calm and serene atmosphere. David Zarzoso David Zarzoso The space has been conceptualized as an immersive walk among the clouds, that moment when, after a long journey, one begins to pass through them and becomes enveloped in their atmosphere. ABODE 67

This small apartment, located in a former industrial space, perfectly embodies the characteristics of an urban loft. The main challenge was managing the limited space and the arrangement of the openings. Piercarlo Quecchia Piercarlo Quecchia Large windows are present only on one side of the apartment, dictating the choice to keep the adjacent space as open as possible to maximize the influx of natural light into the living area. The main functions have been organized along the side parallel to the windows, creating a well-equipped functional strip. CELEST

Celest restaurant & cocktail bar The design of Celest in De Zalmhaven in Rotterdam by Doepel Strijkers and commissioned by Magnicity allows Celest’s guests to transcend the ordinary world, to a special place far above the earth. Guests literally rise to new heights as Celest occupies the top two floors of the tower, 190 meters above the Maas River, making it the highest restaurant in the Benelux. Mathijs Labadie When Doepel Strijkers began formulating the design concepts for Celest, they turned to Edgar Allan Poe’s The Unparalleled Adventure of One Hans Pfaall as a central reference point. The book’s narrative of a journey to the moon provided the inspiration for a design that emphasises both ascent and transfor... More

Cato Networks

In the bustling heart of Tel Aviv, a new high-rise hosts the expansive 20,000 sqm headquarters of Cato Networks, a global leader in cloud-based security. Spanning six floors, the innovative campus reflects the company’s mission of connectivity and integration. Itay Benit Photography Itay Benit Photography Itay Benit Photography Itay Benit Photography Itay Benit Photography Itay Benit Photography The design draws from the concept of "entropy"—a system’s natural tendency to seek balance. This idea materializes as a flowing "ribbon" of circulation that weaves through each floor, harmonizing diverse programs and linking the building’s structural core to its glass curtain walls. House Bettlach II

This sculptural residential building was built in a beautiful residential area in the canton of Solothurn with a wonderful view of the Alpine chain with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The three floor levels are each rotated 102 degrees from each other and create a superimposed and shifted building sculpture. Due to its hillside location, the ground floor rises elegantly out of the terrain towards the south. The private bedrooms, with a separate master bedroom, are located on the upper floor. The loft-like living zones are on the ground floor. From here you can reach the terrace deck with pool area and elegantly descend a few steps into the garden area.
