L7 Chungjang by Lotte Hotels

Chungjang-ro has long been one of the central streets of Gwangju, shaped by the continuous flow of people over generations. Fashion, food, and culture naturally converge here, making it an urban lifestyle hub frequented by both younger generations and local residents. Through its cafes, shops, festivals, and performances, the street has accumulated layers of the city’s everyday life and collective memory. A place where tradition and modernity, the ordinary and the unexpected coexist, Chungjang-ro most vividly embodies Gwangju’s distinctive artistic energy and sense of freedom, captured in the phrase, ‘The Road of Art, Freedom, and Youth.’ Mingu Kang Mingu Kang Mingu Kang Mingu Kang Set within th... Blue Star House

Immersed in the lush vegetation of Costa Verde, Blue Star House emerges as an extension of the landscape. Conceived from the idea of total integration with nature, the architecture is oriented toward the horizon, dissolving the boundaries between interior and exterior and creating generous shaded areas that define spaces of transition and permanence between inside and outside. Large pivoting wooden doors open the interiors to views of the sea and mountains, allowing the house to transform according to the degree of openness while promoting cross ventilation. Natural light flows through the spaces, filtering through façade elements and openings of varied geometries. Throughout the day, shafts of light draw the interior between solids... More

Rich Street

Rich Street is a commercial development on a heritage corner in Abbotsford, Melbourne. The building draws from the rhythm and proportions of the surrounding Victorian terrace houses, translating that logic into a contemporary eight-storey workplace. The architecture had one clear ambition: to belong on a street it would inevitably tower over. Inspired by the nearby Yarra Bend parklands, greenery extends throughout the building — across terraces, rooftops, and into the interiors — softening the line between architecture and nature. Caption Caption Caption Caption Caption Our visual approach was built around that relationship. We looked for the angles where the building's conversation with the street was... More

Sawtooth House

Designed by Francesco Pierazzi Architects, Sawtooth House transforms an ageing rear extension to a Victorian property in Kingston upon Thames, south-west London, into a more energy-efficient and adaptable family home. Rather than pursuing substantial additional floor area, the project adds only 15 square metres to the existing building while undertaking a broader retrofit of the original house. The resulting 180-square-metre residence demonstrates how targeted additions can be combined with improvements to the existing building fabric to reduce operational energy demand and extend the useful life of established housing. Peter Molloy The architecture also draws on Kingston’s industrial history: its distinctive double sawtooth roo... More

Departamento TLD

TLD is conceived as a refuge for everyday life: a place where peace is felt in every gesture, where balance is naturally present, and where moments of contemplation coexist with the possibility of gathering. The project is articulated through precise volumes, edges, and terminations that open and close the architecture between the public and the private, shaping a livable space one is always drawn to return to. The arrival is defined by a vestibule framed by a marble wall, which acts as both a visual focal point and a welcoming gesture. From the elevator, a piece of art greets the visitor and sets the direction of the journey. The vestibule—an elegant corridor—culminates in a sculpture that organizes the space and anticipates t... Villa T

The former Villa Terraza, named by its first resident with a small sign at the entrance, already contained the essence of the project: a home defined by light and by the desire to transform an apartment into a luminous retreat. This original intuition guided the intervention from the very beginning. The dwelling opens to every orientation, allowing the path of the sun to shape the rhythms of everyday life. Elena Almagro Elena Almagro Elena Almagro Elena Almagro The owner envisioned a place where reading, sunbathing, or walking barefoot would become part of a serene domestic experience. The project responds to this way of living through a restrained architecture, almost monastic in its materiality, where space is defined... More

Neon Pizza

HDG set out to create a wave of ethereal nostalgia the moment guests step into Neon Pizza. The result is an experimental, almost video-game-like study in design, one that blurs the line between architecture and arcade. Lara Swimmer Drawing on the electric glow of retro gaming culture, the space layers neon color, pattern, and light into an immersive dining experience. Every surface plays a role in the story, from the saturated color palette to the geometric detailing that nods to pixel art and classic game design. Lara Swimmer The design team drew inspiration from their own childhoods throughout the process, and the final space includes a nod to that nostalgia: a playable game of Pac-Man, tucked into the experience as a small pi... WAVE 4 and WAVE 5

Located approximately 400 meters from the Baltic Sea, Waves 4 and 5 complete the ECR medical campus in Sopot, Poland, providing supervised recovery accommodations, rehabilitation facilities, and shared amenities for patients before and after medical procedures. Constructed on a degraded brownfield site, the project extends the healthcare complex while restoring five hectares of land as connected green spaces and therapeutic gardens. Rather than pursuing formal sustainability certification, FAAB Architects integrated environmental performance through passive architectural strategies, material selection, and landscape regeneration. ©FAAB, photographer: Jakub Certowicz The buildings draw inspiration from artist Pierre Carreau&rsquo... Casa Baruk Restaurant

Upon crossing the entrance of Casa Baruk in Higienópolis, São Paulo, the architecture reveals a dialogue between traditions. The spatial sequence guides visitors through an immersive experience, where the perception of the space expands almost tangibly, resonating even in the flavors that reach the table. The new venture is part of the Baruk, a group of restaurants founded by Gustavo and Denise Batistel, who have been active in São Paulo’s culinary scene for over a decade, specializing in Arab cuisine, with established locations in neighborhoods such as Vila Olímpia and Itaim Bibi. For this location, the architecture establishes a direct connection with the restaurant’s gastronomic concept, translati... More

Honegger

The new Honegger headquarters in Milan, designed by Progetto CMR and Progetto Design & Build, was conceived to transform the existing offices into a brighter, more open and comfortable workplace. Honegger, a leading company in exhibition stand design and construction, needed to move beyond a previous layout defined by enclosed and disconnected spaces, which did not fully support communication between employees. The project focuses on spatial quality through curved lines, soft volumes and a careful use of natural materials, creating an elegant and welcoming environment. The entrance is defined by a scenographic semicircular reception desk, paired with a custom-made sofa with sinuous forms. Nicola Colia Nicola Colia The gener... More
