Design of a 230 m2 apartment, in a building from the 70's, located in the traditional jardins neighbourhood, in sao paulo, brazil.   The project's concept comes from modernist influences and from the narrative inspired by the contemporary and minimalistic poetry that guides the new way of living. The space designed for the 2019 edition of CASACOR SC, can be defined as a “living bedroom”, the 40m² are a invitation to rest and coziness The name comes from the expression "to be on cloud nine" which is a state of contentment and fulfillment, Cloud Nine is the materialization of this state, translated into a contemporary setting, elementary.   The Cloud Bed was created by architect Gabriel Bordin for mattresses brand Reveev. The architecture of the House 28 is an extension of the arid and lush landscape from the Cerrado Biome. A family that sought tranquility and connection with nature commissioned this urban refuge located 10 minutes away from the national congress of Brasilia.The area of 7000 m2 enabled to spread 850m2 of construction on the ground. Gardens permeate the volumetry and generous windows of wood and glass connect the interior to the landscape.Varieties of perspectives are revealed while walking through the house. This penthouse in Rio’s Urca neighborhood has an extraordinary location, between the Sugar Loaf and Guanabara Bay. The client bought an apartment that was in terrible conditions, but with an exceptional potential for transformation. The project was guided by two complementary ideas: to create a pathway of discovery of the landscape on both sides, the bay and the mountain, and to bring as much light as possible to the three floors.
