The architectural project was born with the request for a recreational and leisure shelter for own use or to be rented for seasons in the city of Cañada de Gómez, province of Santa Fe, in a sector of the city where there is an abundance of weekend homes. This led to adopt as a fundamental premise the withdrawal of the construction towards the back of the lot to generate a generous park in front, dominated by a swimming pool. Seba and Juli came to our studio with the need to generate new surface in their house. The pandemic made them stay in their house for a long time, realizing that they did not have a space to work, as well as an area to listen to music or practice yoga. arq. walter salcedo arq. walter salcedo Studying the house and the way of living, we detected that the covered garage was only used at night. Therefore, it was thought that this space would be the one to solve its interior needs. The house is built in the city of Cañada de Gómez, Santa Fe, Argentina, within the Pro.Cre.Ar housing plan. Within the lot to intervene we find three pre-existing houses on the first floor. The studio designs and builds the 4th house, which together form a mini urban village in the city, hence its name: Le Village René. With the intention of lowering costs, the search of the project was to spatially resolve the house with the least amount of divisions possible. Part of the air.CMMY is situated near the western edge of Pinamar city on a street that ends in a Cul de Sac, away from the sea and downtown. The house was built on an irregular shaped lot that presented a steep slope on the front and back, bordering a forest that will be plotted sometime in the future. The commission constrained the design as the clients wanted a modern and warm house with a gable roof –a demand that was at first interpreted as a large shed. From the outside, CMMY stands as a rigid single volume with recesses and folds. Encinos House consist into a single-family house, which is located at the outskirts of Mexico City, inside in a private residential complex. Our premise was to create a habitable space surrounded by a vast vegetation, while inside, we created a natural and elegant environment, that stands out by the use of exposed and natural materials, in combination with daylight entrance and furniture integration. The program is divided clearly 2 main areas -the public areas are located in ground floor, and most of the private areas take place on upper floor- those spaces are placed around a central-interior patio. A growing family sets out the necessity of enlarge their home of three rooms and 85m2 by adding a second apartment, originally with two rooms and 60m2. The main premise to keep in mind is that the family has to be able to keep on living in their own home during the construction course.   The morphologic analysis of the original apartment emphasize that the night space presented a functional distribution of three rooms and two bathrooms, with minimum circulation area and a suitable size. Furthermore, day space presented an excessive fragmentation and a smaller size.
