Curved

This private interior project was designed within a modern apartment building characterized by a curved, cornerless geometry. The absence of traditional orthogonal walls became the primary design driver, shaping both the spatial organization and the formal language of the interior. The project explores lightness of form, fluid transitions, and a restrained material palette to create a timeless and welcoming living environment. Eklekt Atelier Eklekt Atelier The apartment occupies 66 square meters and is divided into two functional zones: an open living area with kitchen and dining functions, and a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The original layout was completely cleared, allowing the interior to be reorganized from the... More

Audio Center Showroom - Poland

Audio Center Show Room is an interior project combining a primary circulation space with a dedicated listening area, designed as an architectural framework for sound presentation and spatial experience. The project explores the relationship between movement, materiality, and acoustics, treating sound as an integral component of the architectural concept. EKLEKT ATELIER The circulation zone is defined by a sculptural, openwork staircase carved into a rocky, monolithic interior. The stairs lead through a vertically articulated space where material mass and light establish a slow, deliberate sequence of movement. At the center of the stair void, a shallow plane of water is introduced as an active architectural element. Suspended above t... More

Adong BB

Adong is a Japanese-inspired dining space in Bielsko-Biała, designed as a serene architectural composition rather than a themed interior. The project translates core principles of Japanese architecture — harmony, rhythm and material honesty — into a contemporary restaurant experience. ANNA GRUSZKOWSKA ANNA GRUSZKOWSKA ANNA GRUSZKOWSKA ANNA GRUSZKOWSKA The main dining hall is organised as a calm spatial grid. Modular timber panels line the walls, defining the space through repetition and proportion. Indirect light integrated into each segment accentuates the horizontal order of the interior, creating a warm and immersive backdrop that supports focus and togetherness at the table. Above the guests, suspended... More

Habitat Apartment

The Habitat apartment received this name because it is located at the Klee Urban Habitat, a residential building that was also designed by Solo, located in the Mossunguê neighborhood in Curitiba/PR. For us, the opportunity to design one of the apartments in this building was incredible, even more so for a couple of friends who were starting a new phase of their lives. Eduardo Macarios Eduardo Macarios Residents were attracted to this property due to its direct relationship with the forest in front of the site, through the windows and balconies of the building. Therefore, we assumed from the first moment the framing of this landscape as part of the composition of the interior design. Another attraction was the possibility of... More

ATF BUILDING FACADE RENOVATION

The client of the project is ATF, a construction company located in Tehran that wanted to renovate the façade of their thirty-year building in an innovative way but at the same time respecting Iranian tradition and architecture. uc21 architects Our design concept started from this idea expressed by the client and the particular shape of the building lent itself to making an innovative concept but at the same time respecting tradition. The building consists of three floors and the north, east and south sides are those to be designed. There are many terraces especially on the south side where the terrace on the second floor has to be closed partly to use it as a meeting room. uc21 architects At this point we have decided to... Private house in Sozopol

The house is located near the Black sea town of Sozopol and is situated on a plot with panoramic sea view. Assen Emilov Assen Emilov The project consists of partial reconstruction and complete visual transformation of the existing house. The old house was built around 15 years ago in a style imitating the authentic for Sozopol architectural elements and materials: multitude of inclined roofs with tiles, facade planking and tile cladding, bay-windows and arches. Assen Emilov Assen Emilov The wish of the contractor has been to achieve the exactly opposite effect: to have a contrasting, memorable, minimalistic and contemporary architecture. The biggest challenge of the project has been to reduce as much as feasible the cl... More

Easter house in Domodedovo

he house is located in the south of the Moscow region in the Domodedovo district. The customers are a young creative family whose hobbies include traveling. This is clearly visible by the Easter Island statue greeting guests and passers-by at the entrance. The reduced copy of the statue is placed not only as an outrageous detail of the entrance group, but also as a visual boundary along the site and at the same time an architectural dominant uniting neighbors. Hurtin Vasiliy The main house is located in a pine forest on a plot having an elongated shape with a length of 68 by 14 meters. This determined the location and shape of all the buildings of the garage, the main house, the barbecue area and the gazebo at the end of the plot, whi... More

Montauk Beach House No.2

In this inventive re-envisioning of a 1970’s “upside down” house in Montauk, a serene environment of minimalist detailing, rich materials, and sweeping views of the lush landscape were created. As part of the transformative renovation, new openings were carved for light, the roofline simplified, and the interior spaces re-imagined to provide an open, loft-like feel. The residence’s black exterior featuring Shou Sugi Ban cedar siding, embodies the simplicity and serenity of the interior. courtesy of Studio Zung courtesy of Studio Zung Caption courtesy of Studio Zung   More

NCAVED

NCaved is located on a small secluded rocky cove seemingly hovering just above sea level. The need to create a protected shelter, at a location of disarming view, but openly exposed to strong north winds, led us to the decision to drill the slope, instead of arranging a set of spaces in line at ground level.   We applied a rectangular grid to the slope to produce a three-dimensional “chessboard” of solids and voids. This strict geometry is discontinued with the rotation of the last axis of the grid, which provides the living area with ampler view. Shifting the axis intensifies the sense of perspective significantly, and thus the imprint of the residence appears minimized at the conceptual end of the ascent.   Longi... More

ZS21

The location and the resulting image of the project at the initial stage set the basis for the idea. All elements of the interior are brought into the exact balance of volumes and colors, textures and materials, as well as in the fullness of decor items. The house is surrounded by a pine forest, with a low floor the windows are at the level of the tree crowns. The surroundings bring natural colors and materials to the interior, while the interior is shaped by a structure that unites the living areas. Everything is as flexible as possible to erase the framing contour of the apartment. Technical issues are minimized or visually hidden to give the space as natural as possible. There is the required number of lamps, electricians, ventilation is... More

Casa VF

Casa VF was born on a hill surrounded by olive trees and vineyards near the city of Scicli, in the countryside of the Val di Noto: a landscape characterized by the fluid sinuosity of the hills that slope down to the sea. The house opens the view on the Mediterranean Sea and develops as a stratification of two volumes, a rectangular one which forms the ground floor and the other characterized by a triangular stratum which instead hosts the first floor. The arrangement of the volumes responds to the distribution of the housing program: the lower layer houses the living area, the kitchen, the living room and the bedrooms; the upper one, on the other hand, represents a more intimate area, an outbuilding with bedroom and bathroom and a large ter...
