In our general design approach, following the globally developing trends, we tend to use the office area as functionally as possible. The organic forms of the exterior architecture run like a red thread through the entire design concept of the 6,800 m² office space. Based on the corporate design, a customized working environment with a feel-good ambience was created. Stash adopted a hybrid work style which allowed them to reduce the square footage of their office. They took it as an opportunity to move from Tigard back into Portland, where they first got their start 50 years ago. Set amidst the bustling lanes of the Indian city, Kolkata, R.A.W office by Spaces & Design is an amalgam zenith of steel, concrete and wood. Taking the form of a ‘U’ the workspace emphasizes being hassle-free, efficient and chic. This office space has a simple built-in desk with plain overhead floating shelves - solid and voids, providing plenty of storage while maintaining a sleek profile. Squire & Partners have developed The Department Store Studios, a new four-storey contemporary workspace building adjacent to their award-winning offices at The Department Store in Brixton, London. The new development creates a platform for growing businesses with flexible workspaces – from individual desks to private studios – and a host of serviced social and meeting areas. A&M was invited to design the new offices of Amgen, a worldwide biotechnology company, in about 1000m2, on the 4th and 5th floors of the "green" building complex "Green Plaza", located on key road in the north of Athens. In the rising needs of collaborative spaces, there are many workspaces that have transformed into open space. The shift has become imminent that we finally got on to the opportunity to design Coworking Space. With the prevalent trends of non-conventional workplace, we accommodate and facilitate operational needs of a dynamic coworking space using our own design language.To create an interesting concept as it is situated in a central area of Jakarta where all conventional workspaces has already existed, we decided to use an approach of design in a different way. The global headquarters of customer science company, Dunnhumby, is a Grade II listed former motor factory and showroom that was built in 1915. The 11,000sqm conversion, set over five floors, brought the company’s 1,000 London-based employees under one roof. The design celebrates the building's history and compliments Dunnhumby's culture and way of working.
