The Black Shed
On a former campsite is the plan area ' The Nieuwkoopse Eilanden ' realized. The new building plots are spread over a number of headlands between the Nieuwkoopse Plassen and Zuideinderplas.
The characteristics of this plot is the elongated shape and is located along a waterway at the end of one of the headlands, and offers one of the best views over the lake.
On the ground floor in the main part of the house are the living room, dining room and kitchen situated. Views of the lake are captured through big windows. Panorama House
On a former campsite is the plan area ' The Nieuwkoopse Eilanden ' realized. The new building plots are spread over a number of headlands between the Nieuwkoopse Plassen and Zuideinderplas.
Building plot 15 is an extra wide plot at the end of one of the headlands an provides a wide view over the lake. The quality of this unique location is fully utilized in the house: the neighboring facades and the roof- and floor surfaces are relatively closed and form a comfortable shell. The front and rear facades on the other hand, are open and offer a wide panorama of the surroundings. Outdoor terraces, protected from wind, rain and too many sun exposure, are created by placing these mainly glass facades inwards and position them at an angle.... More

Monolithic sculpture
On a former campsite is the plan area ' The Nieuwkoopse Eilanden ' realized. The new building plots are spread over a number of headlands between the Nieuwkoopse Plassen and Zuideinderplas.
Jade architects received the assignment to design and develop a family house. It concerns building plot 31 where a 14-meter-wide building can be realized. The garden at the back of the house lays adjacent to the water.
The kitchen-, dining- and living area merge into an open floorplan and are connected by a large veranda over the full width of the house. It creates a pleasant, sheltered spot near the water. The Bunker
On a former campsite is the plan area ' The Nieuwkoopse Eilanden ' realized. The new building plots are spread over a number of headlands between the Nieuwkoopse Plassen and Zuideinderplas.
The seemingly simple house is characterized by a sturdy use of brickwork with a recessed joint and has two special roof overhangs in the volume. The overhang at the front increase’s visibility from the road and at the rear facade a veranda with a view over the water arises. At the ground floor the kitchen flows into the living room. The kitchen is located on the street side for contact with the neighborhood and the terrace can be used for the morning coffee. The living room is out of sight, which makes it cozy and private. Three Generation House
On a former campsite is the plan area ' The Nieuwkoopse Eilanden ' realized. The new building plots are spread over a number of headlands between the Nieuwkoopse Plassen and Zuideinderplas. The plot on which this house is designed is one of the first to be built in the plan area. The house has the advantage that it provides a wide view over the water in two directions with an optimal sun exposure.
The location properties of this beautiful place are fully utilized in the design of the house. The preconditions in the urban development plan and the established building area of the plot are also based on this and define a main volume oriented on the sun and views on the surrounding. On a former campsite is the plan area ' The Nieuwkoopse Eilanden ' realized. The new building plots are spread over a number of headlands between the Nieuwkoopse Plassen and Zuideinderplas. Building plot 40, where the watervilla is realized is located in the 4th fase of the masterplan.
JADE architects has been asked to design and develop a villa that is lifecycle-proof. Our clients were looking for a place where they could realize their dream house on the ground floor. Taking their aging process into account. The plot is a 'special' which gives a lot of freedom in terms of design and made it possible to create an one-story house.
