SKOLNICK was responsible for the conceptual planning, site selection, and complete architectural and exhibition design for the development of the Creative Discovery Museum, the second cultural destination to be part of a major urban renewal project for the downtown Chattanooga riverfront. Development of the major family-oriented museum focused on themes in the Arts and Sciences. Master planning and complete architectural design of a new 13,350sq. ft. facility to replace the existing structure which no longer meetsthe needs of this growing congregation. The project includes completeredesign of the site plan and architectural design for an expandablesanctuary, social hall, administrative offices, classrooms and library. The Aileron Campus is the physical manifestation of a mission: to create an environment for owners of private enterprise to study professional management. Aileron reached out to SKOLNICK to create a unique place, envisioned as a retreat where entrepreneurs and business leaders can escape the everyday challenges of running a venture, focus on big picture thinking, and interface with their peers.   Collaboration with Aileron’s founders and stakeholders led to the formulation of key themes that characterize the concept of entrepreneur. Gaze Commercial completed the design and fitout works for Tavendale & Partners’ Christchurch office in 2016. Tavendale & Partners is a law firm, based in the South Island, who offer a wide range of legal services, particularly in commerce and agribusiness.   The practice‘s new offices are located on the top levels of two neighbouring buildings and are connected by an airbridge. Within the larger of these two spaces sits the lawyers‘ main offices and a staff cafe. A stylish business centre is located in the adjacent building and is fitted out with meeting rooms that can be booked by either staff or their clients. When Casper Schwarz Architects was requested to design an interior design for the three top floors of the Infinity Building in Amsterdam (the former ING-house), our design team thought of only one thing: to create a “new type of classic”. We aimed for new values in refinement and detailing to form a timeless piece. DZAP completely redesigned the interior of a foundation’s existing offices. The development followed a comprehensive architect café, which led to a new work concept that defined the transformation from a very outdated office to a modern, future-proof work environment, all on a tight budget. More

XL Catlin, a unit of XL Insurance Company SE, is one of the world’s largest insurance and reinsurance companies. In 2016 the Dutch branch acquired a new location at Cuserpark in Amsterdam, which needed a new interior. The goal: a flexible working environment with an international and sensational design. The requirements: use of pure, fair-trade materials and elements and colour accents from the XL Catlin branding. But the biggest challenge by far was the extreme time pressure. Thanks to iron discipline in the project management at every stage from design to turnkey delivery and relocation coordination, handover took place on schedule. More

Panasonic, a worldwide leader in electronics, moved its Dutch branch offices to a new location in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. After assisting with the building selection, DZAP did the design and execution of the office space, showroom and training rooms. The overall impression is a visually attractive, bright and industrial whole created through the combination of open space and the latest tech innovations. More

The climate system sits under the raised Floor of this historical building. This way, the old style elements are kept visible. Design and build went along at this project, wich is unusual. This private house, built in 1926, was deserted for a unknown time and not in a good condition. The good thing was that the building was almost original. Bureau in aanbouw organized the complete renovation and restored the house in its original looks. All technique and insulation has been brought to a high level. Now it has the quality of a monument and energy consumption of a new building. Every visitor gives their compliments. We are very happy that we could realize this project. More
