Gaze Commercial completed the design and fitout works for Tavendale & Partners’ Christchurch office in 2016. Tavendale & Partners is a law firm, based in the South Island, who offer a wide range of legal services, particularly in commerce and agribusiness.
The practice‘s new offices are located on the top levels of two neighbouring buildings and are connected by an airbridge. Within the larger of these two spaces sits the lawyers‘ main offices and a staff cafe. A stylish business centre is located in the adjacent building and is fitted out with meeting rooms that can be booked by either staff or their clients. Having a space that the firm's clients could use for meetings and as office space was key as many of them are based in rural locations.
Gaze designed this open and bright space to optimise the use of natural lighting and make the most of the location‘s views. The fitout also incorporates the brand’s colours in a bold yet sophisticated manner and focuses on using sustainable materials where possible.
