The Buttermarket
The Buttermarket in Redruth, Cornwall, England, is a heritage-led regeneration of five Grade II-listed buildings around a central courtyard. Designed by Somerset-based Thread, a studio specialising in conservation architecture, the transformative regeneration of this historic town square-style site has preserved its character while creating flexible workspaces, food units, and a first-floor gallery. The project offers a sustainable model for community-led regeneration within Redruth’s Conservation Area and Cornwall and West Devon’s UNESCO Mining World Heritage Site.

Bioclimatic Tropical Villa in Vietnam
T3 ARCHITECTS and KANOPÉA Architecture Studio designed this week-end Villa with a true Sustainable approach tailor-made for Tropical conditions: hot weather, heavy rains, wind (as we are close to the sea), insects and other wildlife… With the existing site being partially covered by a forest, T3 Team decided to locate the Villa under the trees (to get shadow and thermal comfort), but having the main facade on the forest’s line to get a very nice view of the tropical garden and pool. Guests have their own buildings to get privacy. It also creates a buffer area from the small road (to block the potential noise and keep a high degree of privacy).

Leonali
An environmentally responsible office project, focused on recycling and reusing both space and materials.
Developed inside a former textile factory from the first half of the twentieth century, Oficinas Leonali seeks to revive a disused space by giving another essence to the place.

The project takes advantage of and rescues the original structure of the factory, adapting the building to create a new use and atmosphere within the space. Inside the factory, a free floor plan is created, which is used to generate the project with the least number of dividing walls to separate the spaces. Each space has windows to allow permeability and integration of all spaces.

Basha Franklin reimagines a responsive yet modern refurbishment for Related Argent's headquarters at Kings Cross, London. The workplace follows a holistic approach towards sustainable design, evolved around the company's work model of the health and well-being of its people and their environment.

The ‘Iceberg’ takes an environmentally sensitive approach to a small urban lot in Berlin
Featuring a light aluminium façade, the ‘Iceberg’ is a low-energy, wood-hybrid residential building constructed largely from recycled materials. Making the most of a small lot, the 11 low-barrier rental flats take up a mere 100 m2 of floor space.

The design, by Marc Dufour-Feronce and Andreas Reeg of Rundzwei Architekten takes a pragmatic approach to the relatively small lot with interventions intended to maximize space shaping the appearance of the building. House DeDe inherits its soul from the site’s past while featuring an adaptive contemporary architecture
House DeDe by OYO Architects is a new private family home situated to protect the existing nature of the surrounding site. Key materials to build the home were salvaged from the broken-down barn on site. Recycled and reused, the barn’s bricks are used to create a volume which inherits the natural authenticity and ‘spirit’ of the site.
