Leonali

Leonali Office

Dionne Arquitectos as Architects

An environmentally responsible office project, focused on recycling and reusing both space and materials.

Developed inside a former textile factory from the first half of the twentieth century, Oficinas Leonali seeks to revive a disused space by giving another essence to the place.

The project takes advantage of and rescues the original structure of the factory, adapting the building to create a new use and atmosphere within the space. Inside the factory, a free floor plan is created, which is used to generate the project with the least number of dividing walls to separate the spaces. Each space has windows to allow permeability and integration of all spaces.

Oficinas Leonali pays attention and care to proportion, respecting the height of the space and allowing the entrance of natural light, in order to use as little electric light as possible, providing comfortable environments that encourage creative work.

The use of original materials and in their natural state, generate the essence of the place. Recycled materials such as wooden pallets are used to divide spaces. Steel columns are used to generate an internal structure and the existing exterior walls are respected.

In addition to the ecological approach, Oficinas Leonali has an "Open Space Office" concept, seeking flexibility and efficiency in the spaces, generating large work spaces that provide a pleasant environment, using the minimum amount of dividing walls and generating informal meeting spaces.
