Two new buildings, which share a square shape but vary in height, complement the neighbouring church, technical school and elementary school to create a balanced new architectural ensemble. The precise placement of the new buildings develops distinctive, well-proportioned outdoor spaces which define a village square as the new centre of the district. The two square volumes help to create order in the heterogeneous environment. There are three reasons for the staggered positioning: creating views, giving each building a recognisable face, and ensuring easy access from Haselstauderstraße. It gives a home to emerging and veteran athletes, supporting Mexico's longstanding affinity with the game of football. A DYNAMIC SPORTS TEMPLE:In Zaandam (N-H) we are developing a new sports complex that includes fitness, spinning, boxing lessons and physiotherapy. Our dynamic design is characterized by diagonal lines and symbolizes movement and activity. The robust design is largely made of metal and has a metal facade finish in two colours. The swimming pool complex lies beside the entrance to the town of Fondettes, just a few kilometres from the city of Tours. The urban backdrop here is mainly residential with a housing estate. The site of the swimming pool complex is completely flat. It faces a roundabout that was recently built. Eugeni Pons The edifice plays the demanding role of signalling its presence while creating a new landscape. Its long white walls stretch afar and seem to reflect the skyline. Novelda is a town in the interior of the province of Alicante that has always had cycling associations and relevant figures within the sports world in this discipline. It is an area of small hills, focused on the exploitation of marble quarries that have made it internationally known. In the 1950s, local cyclist Luis Navarro Amorós won a stage in the Vuelta Ciclista a España, becoming the driving force behind this sport in the town.
