MDAD - Matheus Diniz Arquitetura e Design

Founded by architect Matheus Diniz in 2012, MDAD was establisehd to put into practice studies on architecture and perception conducted for a master's degree. After researching how the perception of space affects behavior and memory, suggesting new actions and experiences, Matheus decided to develop projects that are based on the perspective of those who will use the space. We seek to carry out projects that are memorable, impactful, and thought-provoking. We want to offer new actions, perceptions, and experiences to those who visit, work, or live in our buildings. Our projects were featured in several publications around the world and and we were unanimously awarded with the grand prize for the 57th Annual Architects Awards of the Brazilian Institute of Architects – Rio de Janeiro. We were selected to present two of our projects in the 27th World Congress of Architects that took place in Rio de Janeiro in 2021.
