The RT 72 Reflex is a modular aluminum window and door system from Kawneer for fixed glazing and inward or outward opening windows and doors. The RT 72 Reflex has a patented Reflex technology and high insulation for a reasonable price. You can choose the level of insulation: a Uf value of 1.2, 1.4 or 1.6. Also, the RT 72 Reflex offers excellent performances in the field of burglar- and fire resistance.
Product features The RT 72 Reflex profiles are 72 mm deep, insulated and executed with a special patented coating on the Thermal break. This coating makes sure that warmth is reflected for an even better insulation. Besides that, you don’t need to add as much insulation material to reach or maintain a certain Uf value. Depending on the execution and size three insulation values are possible: Uf 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6. It doesn’t matter which insulation value you choose; the rest of the system remains identical and extra options can be added. This ensures you always get the product that fits your project best. The RT 72 Reflex has burglar resistance class 2 or 3 and fire resistance EW 30 and EI 30 (EW 60 specifications available upon request). All aluminum windows and doors are furthermore tested thoroughly and meet the highest standards in terms of thermal insulation, air and water tightness and sound insulation.
An important criterion of the RT 72 Reflex is that the system, thanks to the inventive and innovative slim build, provides maximum daylighting. Because of the modular build the different systems from Kawneer can be mutually combined. These combination options offer even more possibilities. On top of that Kawneer offers matching and fitting hinges and locks with the new A-line handles that, as well as the windows and doors themselves, can be delivered in every desired RAL-color. The RT 72 Reflex can also be executed with hidden hinges for a complete finish. Thanks to the attractive design and varied choice of profiles and surface treatments every façade gest its own look.
Designs The design options with the RT 72 Reflex are endless. Within this system the steel renovation design GT 70 S can be applied, or the wood look, standard, hidden vent or renovation design. A wide range of options with a clear supply of systems are the base of all architecture projects in the most various forms. The modular system exists of an aluminum inner and outer scale where the different designs can be applied. In between the inner and outer scale a wide variety of functionalities is possible. Different insulation values (standard, Reflex, HI+ with patented AlcoaTherm), fire resistant and burglar resistant specifications can be modified without having to compromise or change anything about the inner and outer scale. Vice versa it is also possible to only modify the outer scale in the design of your preference, without compromising on the functional characteristics.
