The Sant'Egle Agritourism Farm is the result of the restoration of an ancient customs house of the 1600s, where those who crossed the border between the Papal State and the Grand Duchy of Tuscany used to stop in search of refreshment. This charming historic residence, so expertly restored, is now the destination of those looking for an exclusive and tastefully furnished place characterized by the renowned Tuscan hospitality and strong attention to nature. Sant'Egle, in fact, is an eco-friendly structure with zero impact (100% of the energy used is produced from renewable sources and both heating and hot water are supplied by solar panels) and a biodiversity preserver.
The garden, the structure and each room create different settings through objects, colors and communication artifacts displayed in rotation by artists from all over the world.
The 7 rooms have been restored in bio building and tastefully furnished, also paying attention to creative recycling.
For the floorings of the ORTO room and the RUSTICA suite, BLENDART was chosen, a porcelain collection by Ceramica Sant'Agostino, which is part of the Supernatural project and is realized with an innovative digital system that does not generate waste residues and boasts the EnvironmenTile brand . BLENDART recreates the fascinating veins of wood in an unprecedented way: the extraordinary paint stripping effect overlaps the original knotty nature of the wooden material, generating a worn effect, marked by time, which gives particular charm to the rooms.
The COLORART collection, on the other hand, is the protagonist of the floor covering of the new Suite De Luxe Piccioni: the result of a careful bio-building renovation where Ceramica Sant'Agostino flooring makes this space even more welcoming and comfortable inside Agriturismo Sant ' Egle.
The Beige Empire Mosaic from the MARMOCREA collection, used in the bathrooms, reproduces the metamorphic strength and the veins of marble, enhancing the naturalness of the surfaces and giving elegance and charm to the room dedicated to relaxation.
