"The collection reflects our vision of trees - a solid foundation topped with delicate leaves. These ideas were first adapted in the form of a chair, consisting of a supporting structure made of solid wood and a seat with a backrest of optically light weight, molded ply wood,"said Gaia Giotti when introducing the E-ggs designer duo´s collection concept. "Apart from the characteristic properties of trees themselves, we were also inspired by their shapes. Specifically,the leaves -whose motive can be found in the cross-section of the backrest,"she added.
