A restaurant and bar in downtown Poznan, FoodX is a one-stop for quirky ideas, bold street art, food and visuals. Designed by Mode:lina™, the project incorporates some of the strategies developed in the food brand’s previous projects as well as their visual identity using a striking colour palette and neon lights.

The peculiar menu offered by the FoodX concept's brands, Mr Pancake Poznan, Pizza boyz, Ghost Burger and Vegan Pizza Club, served as a direct inspiration for the design. The street style menu translates into space design with vivid colours derived straight from the 80s and 90s era's lively pop music videos.

Dominated by a glowing colour gradient that runs through the walls and furniture, the interiors induce a sense of awe in the users. A chameleon-type foil on the external windows reflects the colours of interior spaces.

Another inspiration from the 90s is the abundant use of glass bricks to create the bar and as a finishing element in certain areas. Dome street mirrors placed on the walls and ceiling, which multiply the artful image, are another critical element in enhancing the vibe.

The choice of furniture is also made cautiously, creating custom-designed fittings to complement the ambience. Therefore, the project gives away a retro aesthetic with a pop of vibrant colours and neon lights.
