Acrylic external skin

The Vitroflex SC System is composed by two dented profiles that are on average 6 mm thick and 217 mm in width. They were custom made for the project, to comply with acoustic and light diffraction parameters. The cladding system is completed by a two part clamp, that supports the dovetailing of the profiles, as well as it allows for the movement of the profile due to the thermal expansion. The same profiles were extruded in PC and acrylic, depending on the fire requirements. Different arrangements of colors were used around the building. From a clear base with fluorescent stripes for the façade, to opal and clear stripes for the interior and blue base and clear stripes for the main auditorium. All colors were made for long durability.
